Luca Rastrelli

Luca Rastrelli is Full Professor of Food Chemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Salerno, Italy. He is mainly interested in chemical, and biological characterization of food, food supplements and dietetic as well as food and medicinal plant species: the investigation involves the isolation and chemical characterization of secondary metabolites, and development of integrated analytical techniques for determination of qualitative and quantitative profile of food products extracts. A recent research line concerns the Development of analytical methodology for determination of emerging contaminants in foods and environment.
