Giovanni Spagnuolo

Giovanni Spagnuolo

Giovanni Spagnuolo is Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Salerno, where he teaches Basic Circuit Theory and Power Electronics for Renewable Energy Systems to Mechanical and Electronic Engineering students.

He is Editor of the IEEE Journal of Photovoltaics and Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics.

From 2012 to 2014 he has been chairing the Technical Committee on Renewable Energy Systems of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society.

He is the principal investigator in industrial research projects funded by National Semiconductors and Bitron and in a number of academic research projects.

He is co-author of five international patents on switching converters and control techniques for renewable energy systems.
